Key Responsibilities
Grow traineeship enrolments across NSW and nationally through proactive employer and stakeholder engagement.
Develop and manage a strong revenue pipeline by identifying opportunities with employers, Apprentice Connect Australia Providers, GTO’s, Local and State Government, and Industry Bodies.
Build strategic partnerships across key sectors including aged care, disability, health, community services, and customer service.
Support marketing campaigns and represent SST at industry events, employer meetings, government briefings, and networking opportunities to lift brand presence.
Monitor performance and forecast revenue, contributing to monthly and quarterly commercial reporting.
Collaborate with our Training Facilitation and Compliance teams to ensure high-quality delivery and exceptional employer experience.
What You Bring
Business Development experience within an RTO or Traineeship/Apprenticeship environment.
Strong understanding of VET funding models (NSW Smart & Skilled, ACT User Choice, SA WorkReady, national traineeship frameworks) and government contracting requirements.
Demonstrated ability to generate leads, convert opportunities, and exceed revenue targets.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. You build trust quickly and maintain long-standing relationships.
A proactive, organised, and resilient style. You know how to prioritise, follow through, and close business.
Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, HR, Education, Community Services, or a related field.
