About the role
We're now seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team at our Carole Park site. In this role, you'll be at the heart of ensuring our facilities and equipment operate at their best contributing to the smooth running of our operations. You will be responsible for the day-to-day electrical maintenance and breakdown troubleshooting of production equipment

Key focus areas of the role include:
* Perform electrical fault finding, repairs, and maintenance on production machinery and infrastructure
* Install, modify, and upgrade electrical systems and components
* Conduct scheduled preventative electrical maintenance
* Assist in the commissioning of new equipment and electrical systems
* Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
* Ensure WHS, Environmental, and Quality obligations are met through personal compliance with legislation, policies, and guidelines
* Support production teams to achieve high quality and efficiency through electrical reliability and responsiveness
* Provide support to leading hands and other trades as required
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Trade Qualified Electrician
* Current Electrical Licence (QLD)
* Experience in a high-risk food manufacturing environment preferred
* PLC experience is ideal not essential
* Strong team player with the ability to work independently
* Commitment to ongoing professional development
* Safety-first mindset
* Knowledge of Food Safety preferred but not essential
* Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
* Strong attention to detail and housekeeping standards
* Computer literacy
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
