Visual Merchandiser

The Position
This is an exciting opportunity for a Regional Visual Merchandiser to join our expanding team.
The successful applicant will be responsible for their own region of stores across Sydney as well as selected NSW regional locations requiring travel.
The full-time role reports directly to the National VM Co-ordinator and is responsible for ensuring all allocated stores implement, maintain and follow our VM company guidelines, including:
Execution of VM plans and merchandise presentation in-store and windows
Ensuring all allocated stores are provided with VM support
Training staff in all aspects of VM through workshops and one-on-one sessions
Providing regular contact, feedback and updates to the National VM Manager and Co-ordinator
Creating and photographing new and dramatic visual displays based on support office briefs
Managing the implementation of VM components for catalogue set-up and major events
Assisting with new store openings and/or refurbishments
Analyzing and monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify VM opportunities
Proposing solutions when challenges arise during VM implementation
The Perfect Profile
To be successful in this role you will ideally have Visual Merchandising experience in a retail environment and a genuine interest in homewares.
Recent VM/Design graduates with a demonstrated retail background will also be considered.
We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, energetic, and demonstrates initiative and creativity in problem-solving.
You should be able to build strong working relationships with store teams and regional managers, thrive in an autonomous role, and showcase a creative flair with an eye for detail.
Applicants must have their own vehicle and a current driver's license, as you will be traveling to selected stores daily.
