About the Role
The Stakeholder Engagement Lead supports the Heavy Vehicle Driver Safety Reform program by developing and delivering engagement and communication strategies. Reporting to the Road Safety Program Manager, the role builds stakeholder relationships, leads consultation on the Regulatory Impact Statement, and uses strong communication and influencing skills to support successful reform implementation.
The role develops and delivers stakeholder engagement and communication plans for the Heavy Vehicle Driver Safety Reform program. It engages government, industry, and training providers, coordinates reference groups and events, and manages updates and consultations. The role also monitors engagement effectiveness, prepares key messaging, and supports collaborative, high‐performing team outcomes.

* Builds collaboration and influences outcomes by fostering partnerships, overcoming communication barriers, and securing buy‐in across internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
* Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in communications, stakeholder relations, or a related discipline.
* Experience working within the transport and logistics sector.
* Experience supporting the implementation of major reform programs.
