An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to work with the MACARF heart failure service. Based at Ryde Hospital you will be working in the cardiology ward, Heart Failure Clinic and in the community setting.

Ryde Hospital
Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.
The Ryde Hospital Redevelopment will result in new health facilities and enhanced services including emergency, ICU/critical care, inpatient units, outpatient/ambulatory care services and much more.
Construction commenced in early 2023, and will provide you with a wonderful and exciting opportunity to be part of the Ryde team to change the future health services for the Ryde Community completely.
What you'll be doing
Assessing, educating heart failure patients and their families. You will work closely with cardiologist/GPs in the heart failure clinic and supporting patients in the community.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Nurse Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA) with relevant post-registration qualifications and at least 3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification or such other qualifications or relevant equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and ability to mentor and coach nursing staff to enhance career development.
- Demonstrated skills in computer use and applications such as Windows, word processing and database.
