About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Biomedical Engineer to manage the repair, calibration, and maintenance of CardioScan’s medical equipment. You’ll ensure our technology is performing at its best—both in-house and on-site at customer locations across Australia—playing a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and reliable diagnostics.
12-month Fixed Contract - with the potential to go FT
Key Responsibilities
Repair, calibrate, and maintain all medical equipment used by CardioScan
Travel to customer sites nationally as needed for on-site equipment servicing
Conduct safety testing on all medical equipment to ensure compliance and performance
Maintain the equipment service register and complete detailed service records
Stay up-to-date with manufacturers' specifications and manuals to enhance troubleshooting and repair processes
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and minimal downtime
About you
A Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering
A minimum of 1 years’ experience in the electronics/medical equipment service industry
A valid, unrestricted driver’s licence with the flexibility to travel across Victoria and interstate as needed.
Strong computer skills (especially MS Word and Excel)
A logical, analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
The ability to self-manage, adapt quickly, and remain flexible in a dynamic environment
