Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performing and secure network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with IT colleagues to provide daily operational support.
* Work with internal SMEs and external vendors to design, implement, and maintain high-performing and secure network infrastructure.
* Provide specialist network advice and technical project services, supporting key business projects.
* Perform proactive maintenance across all in scope systems, ensuring systems are up to date, stable and secure.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver customer solutions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* More than 4 years of experience in a large corporate enterprise network encompassing the following:
o Cisco enterprise networking technologies.
o Network monitoring and management tools (SolarWinds).
o Network automation tools (e.g., Cisco DNA Centre).
* Understanding of network switching and routing as related to Unified Communications
* Practical knowledge of application and network infrastructure protocols
