About the role
We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our day spa team in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales. As the face of our spa, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients in a part-time capacity. This is an excellent opportunity to work in the thriving health and wellness industry.
The position requires availability for mixed weekdays and weekends, but must include the full day Saturday. Approximately 3 days ongoing with additional hours available for the right candidate in peak times.
Applicants holding a Certificate 3 or equivalent in Beauty Therapy are encouraged to apply, providing the opportunity to also provide waxing, tinting and like services to our valued clients, increasing the scope of hours available.
What you'll be doing
1. Greeting and welcoming clients and ensuring a seamless front of house experience for our guests
2. Answering incoming calls and emails and booking appointments efficiently
3. Retail sales and skin consultations and processing payments
4. Maintaining a clean and organised reception area as well as supporting our back of house team with cleaning and treatment set up to ensure a seamless client experience.
5. Providing general administrative support as needed to the business owner and spa manager
6. For those with a Beauty Qualification, providing a range of beauty services including waxing, tinting, lash lifts, tanning etc.
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, ideally within the hair and beauty industry
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for providing exceptional client care. An aptitude for retail sales.
3. Excellent time management and organisational abilities
4. Proficient in using technology such as booking systems and point-of-sale
5. A positive, friendly and proactive attitude
