GE Hughes Construction Co is a family owned business based in the Adelaide Hills in Lobethal, South Australia. We operate a fully fitted workshop with twin drive over pits, hoists, spare parts division, fully automated brake tester, truck wash and shaker.
Position
We are looking for a diesel and/or light vehicle mechanic / tyre fitter who enjoys a diverse range of tasks with state‐of‐the‐art equipment.
Responsibilities
* Work on a fleet of state‐of‐the‐art Scania trucks and heavy vehicles, including all forms of trailers.
* Perform all aspects of service and repairs on small tools, vans, utes, 4wd's and performance vehicles.
* Service and repair earthmoving equipment.
* Work independently or as part of a team.
* Respond to call‐outs during the day if required.
Qualifications
* Right to work in Australia.
* Experience performing automotive services on heavy vehicles (e.g. trucks, agricultural vehicles).
* Current Australian driver's licence.
* Willingness to undergo a pre‐employment medical check.
