Our continual growth has presented us with an exciting opportunity for a Contract Supervisor to join our team based out of Townsville. As Supervisor you will assist the Operations Manager and other Supervisors in delivery of all Centrogen North QLD and Central QLD based contracts. This role will require excellent time management skills to be able to balance the different competing requirements. This role is based out of Centrogen Townsville depot, however, will require extensive travel to Rockhampton between April and October.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist Operations Manager in all areas of contracts, from initial pricing through to crew/job setup and delivery.
* Undertake safety audits for Centrogen crews and address any non‐conformances.
* Manage client enquiries and complaints, maintaining accurate registers and records.
* Schedule and allocate work to maximise efficiency, quality and compliance.
* Provide day‐to‐day supervision and leadership to crews.
* Work on the tools alongside crews as required.
* Ensure safety standards, company policies and safe work practices are understood and adhered to.
* Drive a safe, productive, and positive work culture.
* Provide on‐the‐job training, coaching and support to crew members.
* Conduct toolbox talks, pre‐start meetings and safety briefings.
* Monitor work quality and ensure works are delivered to specification and on time.
* Prepare basic reports on progress, issues and incidents for management.
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders as required.
About You
* Experienced in supervising teams and driving results.
* Experience using Microsoft suite.
* Determined in approach with a proven commitment to safety.
* White Card, ACDC, Defence pass (advantageous).
* Experience in hazard reduction burning.
* Experience in the vegetation management industry.
* Ability to pass any pre‐employment physical, drug and alcohol testing.
* Willing to undertake all roles in the vegetation crew including hazard reduction burns, mowing, brush cutting, herbicide application and tractor slashing.
