CHPP Operator
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CHPP Operator to join our team at an underground coal mine in Singleton. The successful candidate will operate large mobile equipment, manage coal stockpile movements, and perform train loading operations.
Job Tasks And Responsibilities:
* Operating large mobile and ancillary equipment supporting the CHPP production tasks as directed
* Working towards achieving the shift plan by being a motivated and enthusiastic team player
* Managing coal stockpile movements and performing train loading operations
* Carrying out maintenance tasks during maintenance periods and breakdowns
* Proactively contributing to the safety of the team by identifying risks & hazards and reporting appropriately
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and making suggestions
* Encouraging and modelling good housekeeping & equipment care
Required Skills And Qualifications:
* Experience operating Komatsu Haul Trucks, Caterpillar Dozers, and Caterpillar Wheel Loaders
* Current tickets for relevant equipment
* Minimum 2 years' previous experience in a CHPP environment or proven experience executing similar maintenance and operational tasks
* Electrical Trade Qualification
* Detailed knowledge of equipment relevant to the CHPP and systems such as conveyors, pumps, feeders, screens, rotary breakers, and train loading systems
