A private paediatric practice located in Vermont. Our client base ranges in age from 0-18 years with a wide variety of developmental needs. We are a multi-disciplinary clinic consisting of speech therapists, occupational therapists and dietitians who pride ourselves on putting our families first. We have a great administration team to support with payments, phone calls and bookings. Our warehouse space houses a gigantic sensory/therapy gym which all therapists make use of.

Responsibilities
The position will primarily be responsible for providing ongoing therapy to children within our clinic, as well as in school and home settings. Supervision and career development are available for the successful applicant from our experienced team.
We run a variety of different programs including individual OT, Aquatic Therapy, Social Skills groups, School Readiness, and a Feeding and Fussy eating program.
A willingness to become a trained Aquatic Therapist and swimming teacher would be fantastic. We run an aquatic therapy program/swimming school holiday program for children with special needs which is an amazing and new therapy in Australia. Training will be provided to the right applicant.
The successful applicant will have an ability to relate to children and a sense of creativity when planning therapy sessions.
We see children from 1-18 with a range of issues including ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, CP, Intellectual Disability, Sensory Processing Disorder... the list goes on. No two days are ever the same!!
We offer a comprehensive new graduate training program with an incremental KPI and (at least) weekly supervision. We focus on training and teaching you best practice methods and supporting you every step of the way.
Essential Criteria
* Eligibility for membership to OT Australia
* Current registration with AHPRA, police check and WWC check
* A love for working with children.
* Creativity and enthusiasm in developing individualised therapy sessions.
* Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
* Current drivers' licence and car
Desirable Criteria
* Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders and sensory processing difficulties.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* Experience conducting standardised assessments.
