About the Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Senior Project Coordinator to support the delivery of a major ICT transformation program. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative, Agile delivery environment, providing project coordination, governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement support across multiple workstreams.
This role is ideally suited to an experienced APS6-level Project Coordinator who can operate confidently in complex ICT environments, manage competing priorities, and work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Support project and program delivery activities including planning, scheduling and coordination.
* Monitor project milestones, deliverables and dependencies to ensure timely delivery.
* Develop and maintain project documentation including:
* Project Plans
* Risk and Issue Registers
* Executive Briefs and Papers
* Financial and Status Reports
* Transition and Operational Readiness Documentation
* Support program governance and reporting activities.
* Coordinate decision, risk and issue management processes.
* Liaise with business and technical stakeholders to resolve delivery challenges.
* Assist with resource coordination and project administration activities.
* Support procurement and contract-related activities where required.
* Maintain project records using approved project management and information systems.
* Contribute to Agile delivery ceremonies and project governance forums.
Candidates should demonstrate experience in:
* ICT project and/or program delivery.
* Project planning, scheduling and coordination.
* Budget, resource, risk and issue management.
* Project governance and reporting.
* Developing project artefacts and executive-level documentation.
* Stakeholder engagement across business and technical environments.
* Influencing and building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders.
* Problem solving and proactive issue resolution.
* Agile delivery methodologies and frameworks.
* Working autonomously while contributing effectively within large delivery teams.
* Government procurement and contract administration activities.
* Tools such as:
* Microsoft Office Suite
* Electronic Records Management Systems
* Project reporting and collaboration platforms
Highly regarded experience includes:
* Federal Government project or program delivery experience.
* SAFe Agile certification.
* PRINCE2 Agile certification.
* Change, transition and operational readiness activities.
