We're looking for a customer focused and highly organised individual to step into the role of Service Coordinator within our Burnie branch. Working on a 7/7 roster (Wednesday to Thursday 6am‐6pm), you will enjoy meaningful work and time at home every night. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, you will be the key link between customers, technicians, and internal teams, coordinating workflows, scheduling technicians, managing technical queries, and ensuring work orders are delivered accurately, on time, and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
* Book and schedule work in progress
* Liaise with customers throughout machine repairs
* Provide clear and timely updates on repairs and equipment builds
* Prepare quotations following inspection work
* Manage invoicing and ensure accurate job and pricing details
* Work closely with other departments to deliver effective solutions
Qualifications
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
* Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Tech‐savvy with the ability to quickly learn new systems and communicate clearly and professionally in writing
* Experience in the heavy mechanical industry (desirable)
* A strong commitment to safety, health, and environment standards
* A background in mechanical or heavy industry is an advantage, but not essential
