The Opportunity
The Newman Branch is seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to support maintenance operations on WA1200 and EWL 1850-3 Loaders. This role will operate from a client's mining camp in the Pilbara.
You will be responsible for ensuring equipment performance and safety by carrying out diagnostics, repairs, and site-based maintenance projects.
* Qualified Plant Mechanic with proven experience in mobile plant maintenance
* Must have experience maintaining WA1200 and EWL 1850-3 Loaders
* Strong technical understanding of Komatsu equipment design and function
* Proficient in machine diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
* Competent with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Komatsu software
* Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service with a safety-first mindset
* Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail and accuracy
* Demonstrated initiative and a continuous improvement mindset
