ProVide Australia trading as Tyre Chains Australia, is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Senior OTR Tyre Technician to join our Kalgoorlie-based operations. This is a key role within our goldfields service team, supporting major mining and industrial clients across the region.
Based out of our Kalgoorlie service centre, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient fitting, repair, and maintenance of OTR, heavy vehicle, and industrial tyres. The role involves regular travel throughout the goldfields, utilising our fleet of specialised grab trucks to provide professional onsite support to our valued clients.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Inspecting and fitting OTR, heavy vehicle and industrial tyres.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant safety standards and best practices whilst operating company grab trucks and tyre handling equipment.
* Maintaining records of all wheel-related workshop activities & accurately completing site service documentation in compliance with company systems.
* Collaborating with the wider team to optimise wheel management processes.
What We're Looking For:
* Current HR driver's licence – mandatory.
* Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing (Heavy) – mandatory.
* Demonstrated experience as an OTR tyre technician, preferably in mining or heavy industrial environments – Minimum 1 year of OTR experience is required for this position.
* Proven competence in operating grab trucks, tyre handling equipment and forklifts.
* Strong commitment to safety, quality and industry best practice.
* Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
* Kalgoorlie based residents – preferred.
* Available for immediate start – preferred.
