About the role
The Enrolled Nurse will provide assessment and monitoring of individuals to ensure safety at all stages of the client journey and work under direct/indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
* Support a philosophy of care that is patient‐focused, providing integrated care from reception to post‐release.
* Assess and observe the immediate health needs and provide nursing as required and on‐site care in consultation with the Registered Nurse.
* Work within the Enrolled Nurse's scope of practice in collaboration with the Registered Nurse, covering:
o Administering medications
o Skin integrity assessment and wound management as required
o Neurological assessment and management
o Respiratory assessment and management
o Falls risk assessment and minimisation / strategy plan management
Qualifications
* Hold an NMBA‐approved qualification in the administration of medications (1‐5 oral, topical, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous).
* Willingness to work a rotating roster, including day, afternoon, and night shifts.
* Required to be onsite 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
* Paediatric experience is desirable.

Legal Requirements
* Satisfactory Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC).
* Working with Children Check (WWCC).
* Completion of a Pre‐Employment Declaration Form.
* Evidence of legal rights to work in Australia.
* Evidence of vaccination, including influenza within 12 weeks of commencement.
* Compliance with Victorian Minister of Health Mandatory Vaccination Orders.
