Position Overview

Senior Strategic Sales Specialist – Nellcor portfolio team within the Acute Care and Monitoring business, based in Sydney and reporting to the National Sales Leader. The role focuses on increasing win rates, deal velocity, and commercial quality for complex, high‐value opportunities while partnering with regional sales representatives without disrupting account ownership.

Responsibilities

* Engage in high‐impact opportunities to improve probability of close by applying structured deal strategies and aligning solution value to economic and clinical outcomes.
* Lead differentiation by positioning portfolio advantages in bundled and enterprise solutions.
* Support opportunities involving multiple stakeholders, bundled product portfolios, tenders, evaluations, or long buying cycles.
* Partner with pricing, contracts and marketing to shape deal structure and improve market alignment.
* Co‐operate with internal commercial teams and coach regional reps through deal strategy, competitive positioning and value articulation.
* Maintain clear records in Salesforce.com, supporting accurate opportunity staging, close plans and next steps.
* Contribute insights on deal quality and risk for forecast reviews.
* Share best‐practice examples and contribute to standard deal playbooks and sales assets.

Qualifications

* 7+ years of experience working within the patient monitoring marketplace.
* Proven track record in business development, marketing, and/or sales within the healthcare or medical device sector.
* Robust understanding of the marketplace, including competitor activity, emerging trends, and customer needs.
* Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable strategies for business growth.
* Instrumental in developing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and other stakeholders.
* Experience facilitating engagement, organizing educational events, and building networks that drive business impact.
* Experience with cross‐functional/business relationship development and third‐party vendors such as OEMs.
* Effective collaboration across teams, contributing to strategic planning and workflow optimization.
* Proactive, organized approach to collaboration, ensuring alignment with sales, marketing, and product management functions.
