About the Role
Working within a highly regarded Tax and Business Advisory team, you will provide professional accounting, taxation, and advisory services to a diverse client portfolio.
Key responsibilities include
* Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and companies
* Preparation of BAS, IAS, and FBT returns
* Assisting with taxation and business advisory engagements
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Liaising directly with clients and key stakeholders
* Supporting and mentoring junior team members
* Researching and resolving complex taxation matters
About You
* 3+ years' experience within Australian public practice accounting
* CA or CPA qualification (or currently undertaking studies)
* Strong Australian taxation and compliance knowledge
* Experience preparing financial statements and tax returns across various entity structures
* Strong research and problem-solving capabilities
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Experience with Xero and Xero Practice Manager (highly regarded)
* A proactive attitude and strong attention to detail
* A desire to contribute to both your team and the wider local community
