The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to join a growing consultancy where you will play a key role in delivering projects from initial feasibility through to completion. Working closely with senior leadership, clients, consultants and contractors, you will oversee multiple development and construction projects, ensuring they are delivered in line with client objectives, commercial expectations and project timelines. The successful candidate will be a commercially minded project professional who enjoys managing stakeholders, driving project outcomes and contributing to the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery
* Manage projects throughout the entire development lifecycle from feasibility to completion.
* Coordinate consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
* Oversee project programmes, risk management and delivery strategies.
* Monitor project performance against key milestones and objectives.
* Identify and resolve project challenges proactively.
Client & Stakeholder Management
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
* Lead and facilitate project meetings.
* Prepare project reports, agendas and meeting minutes.
* Build and maintain strong relationships across the development and construction industry.
* Represent the business professionally at all times.
Commercial & Financial Management
* Assist in establishing project budgets and cost forecasts.
* Monitor project expenditure and financial performance.
* Identify opportunities to improve project efficiency and value.
* Support procurement and tender processes.
* Review project variations and commercial risks.
Construction & Contract Administration
* Review construction progress claims.
* Assist with tender preparation and contractor selection.
* Prepare and review Principal Project Requirements (PPRs).
* Manage project documentation and approvals processes.
* Support projects through delivery, commissioning and completion.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in a client‐side project management, development management or project delivery role.
* Strong understanding of development and construction processes.
* Experience managing consultants, contractors and external stakeholders.
* Excellent communication and relationship‐building skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong commercial acumen and financial awareness.
* Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
* Proficiency across Microsoft Office Suite.
Highly Regarded
* Experience working within a property developer, development consultancy or project management consultancy.
* Exposure to feasibility analysis, planning approvals and development delivery.
* Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Property, Engineering or related qualifications.
* Existing industry networks within the NSW property and development sector.
