Young Academics Early Learning Centre is a leading and reputable provider with more than 50 centres across New South Wales. We are currently seeking an experienced Centre Manager to lead our vibrant Schofields centre.

About the Role

As a Centre Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent delivery of the highest standards to maintain the operational requirements of the service. This role holds an influential position within the service, accountable for business, relationship and financial success aligned with our values. You will lead the team in creating meaningful learning experiences and environments that reflect best practice and align with our service philosophy. Service compliance and child safety remain our highest priority, and you will be expected to uphold our child‐safe practices in all aspects of your role. You will also collaborate with the team to build strong, respectful partnerships with children, families and the wider community, fostering a supportive environment that enhances children's wellbeing, confidence, and lifelong love of learning. This position is a full‐time role – Monday to Friday between 6:30 am and 6 pm.

Responsibilities

* Lead and develop a high‐performing team.
* Ensure compliance with regulations is met and maintain high operational standards.
* Build strong partnerships with families and the local community.
* Manage budgets, occupancy, rostering and administrative tasks efficiently to optimise the centre's performance.
* Work in a stimulating, contemporary environment equipped with the latest resources.
* Demonstrate attention to detail in keeping accurate records and evaluating programs.
* Guide processes and systems within the centre, adhering to the ECA Code of Ethics and be familiar with OWNA or willing to learn.
* Oversee day‐to‐day centre operations, enrolments and resource management.
* Drive continuous improvement through reflective practice and innovation.
* Support professional development and mentor your team.
* Maintain Mandatory Reporting responsibilities and requirements.

About You

* Advocate for Early Childhood and Care.
* Bachelor's in Early Childhood and Care or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care from a nationally approved registered training organisation.
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
* Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
* Valid Employee Working with Children Check.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience leading and managing an Early Learning Centre.

At Young Academics, we prioritise children's safety and wellbeing. Our values, actions and decisions are guided by our genuine commitment to upholding the rights, interests, needs and voices of children in our care. We use CCTV in our centres and work closely with regulatory authorities to report any child safety concerns.
