The Opportunity
Infinity Group Australia helps Australians cut up to 20 years off their home loans, saving an average of $270,000 over the life of the loan. This role protects the standard that ensures our lending decisions, approvals and compliance standards stand up today and for years to come.
The lending operation moves at pace and scale, so quality assurance and compliance must be embedded, practical and commercially aware. The QA and compliance function itself is growing, giving this role the opportunity to broaden scope and responsibility as the business scales.
What You'll Be Doing
This is a hands‐on, operational role focused on lifting quality across lending, not a policy‐only position.
* Review loan approvals from a quality and regulatory perspective
* Support internal audits and compliance reviews across lending and settlements
* Contribute to compliance and QA training for finance and lending teams
* Provide feedback and recommend improvements to credit, approval and QA processes
* Respond to operational compliance queries with clear, practical guidance
* Interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into workable business advice
* Apply strong working knowledge of the NCCP Act, AML/CTF Act and Privacy Act
Assist with Internal Dispute Resolution (IDR) by:
* Gathering relevant credit and file documentation
* Preparing structured, regulator‐ready responses
* Ensuring required timeframes and frameworks are met
Who This Role Is For
This role is for someone who:
* Has experience as a Credit Analyst or Credit Assessor (bank, non‐bank or brokerage)
* Understands lending policy, approvals and credit risk
* Has exposure to complaints, disputes or IDR processes
* Wants to broaden their career while staying close to lending
* Cares about doing things properly — especially when no one's watching
* Takes ownership and follows issues through to resolution
