Key Responsibilities:
* Review technical drawings, plans, and specifications to identify material requirements, measurements, and construction methods.
* Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and related materials to manufacture joinery products and structural fittings.
* Produce and fit timber components including frames, doors, windows, flooring systems, and custom‐made wood structures.
* Prepare and construct timber joints and assembled sections ready for installation on‐site or within prefabricated structures.
* Carry out repairs, adjustments, and maintenance of existing timber fittings and fixtures where required.
* Use hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery to complete workshop‐based fabrication and assembly tasks.
* Work with a range of materials including timber, laminates, perspex, metals, and aluminium components as part of the manufacturing process.
* Ensure all work is completed in accordance with workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and project specifications.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate III in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 1 year of full‐time relevant industry experience (or equivalent part‐time experience).
* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, measurements, and technical documentation accurately.
* Robust practical knowledge of timber construction methods, joinery techniques, and workshop practices.
* Experience using woodworking machinery, power tools, and specialised equipment for cutting and assembly tasks.
* High attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate and well‐finished joinery products.
* Good organisational and problem‐solving skills with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.
* Understanding of workplace safety obligations, safe material handling, and general construction industry standards.
Pay: $95,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
