The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly qualified Paramedic with Cert III in Emergency Response and Rescue, working with in WA on a 2&2 FIFO roster, ex Perth.
The Paramedic ESO is a dual-skilled professional who provides advanced emergency medical care while also supporting broader emergency response and site safety functions.
Primarily operating as a Paramedic, this role involves assessing patient conditions, making critical decisions under pressure, and delivering swift, effective medical treatment in emergency situations.
In addition to clinical duties, the Paramedic ESO contributes to the planning, coordination, and execution of emergency response operations.
This includes supporting site safety, managing incident response logistics, assisting with evacuations, and playing a key role in fire, rescue, or hazardous material incidents.
This combined role requires strong clinical expertise, calm decision-making in high-pressure environments, and a proactive approach to safety and emergency preparedness.
About You
- Experience working as a Paramedic & experience working as an ESO
- Degree in Paramedicine or equivalent
- Current and Valid APHRA Registration
- ALS (Advanced Life Support) Certification
- RII30719 – Certificate III in Emergency Response and Rescue (or equivalent) must include: Undertake confined space rescue (PUASAR025), Undertake vertical rescue (PUASAR032) & Road crash rescue (PUASAR024)
- PUAVEH001 – Drive Vehicle Under Operational Conditions
- HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing
- Heavy Rigid (HR) Driver’s Licence to operate site fire appliances
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
- HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) – current within 12 months
