A highly successful and fast growing MSP is looking to take on a Senior IT Support Engineer to their team. The company has grown from strength to strength over the last few years and are continuing to expand their team. As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you will have a varied role, providing both on site and remote support to clients and you have an excellent opportunity to work with Enterprise size clients.
The Senior IT Support Engineer will be on site with a client 2 days a week and will work from home 3 days a week.
The main responsibilities:
* Take ownership of Level 2 tickets and escalations within the Service Desk
* Provide on-site support and projects with an education provider
* Demonstrate strong troubleshooting capabilities to efficiently resolve requests
* Ensure that support is aligned with SLAs
* Assist with projects when required
* Continuously up skill and attain industry certifications with the company's support
* Ensure excellent communication at all times
The experience required:
* Previous experience in an MSP
* 3+ years experience in an IT Support focused position
* Strong technical skill set across MS Stack - Windows, O365, Teams, Intune, Servers, EntraID
* Infrastructure support experience - AD, VMware, Windows Server
* Basic network support skills - LAN/WAN - Cisco, Fortinet, Aruba
* Proven experience working in a service desk environment to SLAs
* Experience providing face-to-face on site support
* Excellent communication skills and attitude towards learning
