About the Role
Opportunity for an experienced Estimating Manager based in either Adelaide (Edinburgh North) or Brisbane (Redbank), to lead a nationally distributed team of Estimators, driving governance across the function to ensure accuracy, consistency, and capability uplift, while aligning estimating practices with strategic objectives.
You will
* Lead, coach and develop a national team of Estimators, ensuring estimating is accurate, completed in full and on time
* Establish and implement estimating strategy, standards, and procedures
* Review estimates and provide guidance to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality
* Interpret technical specifications, tender documents and building drawings
* Drive continuous improvement and capability uplift across the team
* Partner with operational teams and factories to enhance collaboration and project outcomes
About You
* Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering
* Experience preparing BOQs and cost plans within the building sector
* Demonstrated experience in senior estimating or estimating leadership roles
* Strong capability across building and site-based project estimating
* Track record of driving standardisation, process improvements, and business transformation initiatives
* Ability to lead dispersed teams and influence stakeholders nationally
* Strategic thinker with a pragmatic, hands‐on and supportive leadership approach
* Willingness to undertake regular interstate travel as required (approximately every couple of months)
* Advanced capability in BIM design and estimating software (e.g. Autodesk Revit and CostX) is highly regarded
