About the role
Pristine Homes and Gardens, are seeking a Domestic Support Assistant who can deliver an exceptional domestic cleaning and general home care experience that caters to families living with disabilities, or those ageing at home or just requiring a bit of additional support recovering from illness or injury.
We are looking for our next cleaning superstar to join our team
As a Domestic Support Assistant, you will be involved in the following duties:
· Providing a tailored cleaning solution, and catering for their specific needs and requirements
· Help with domestic cleaning, inside and outside the home
· Conduct a variety of household tasks such as house cleaning, laundry and occasional meal preparation
· General cleaning duties include mopping, vacuuming and dusting
· Cleaning of bathrooms, laundry and kitchen
· General domestic duties may include occasional ironing and making beds
The role may also provide assistance to families and supporting them or their children with valuable life skills.
We service the following areas in the Southeast and Mornington Peninsula.
Area 1 – Frankston, Seaford and Carrum Downs
Area 2 – Mornington, Mt Martha, Hastings & Somerville.
Area 3 – Rosebud, Dromana, Southern Peninsula
Area 4 – Cranbourne, Dandenong
To be successful in the role you will need:
· Excellent Customer Service skills and manner
· Trustworthy, respectful, care and compassion for the clients
· Pride in your appearance and in your work
· Attention to detail
· Punctual and responsible
· Previous experience in the cleaning industry, community care/disability sector would be advantageous for this position
· Be willing to pass a Police Check & Working with Children's Check.
· Comply with Government health directions (Required doses in accordance with the Government Health Advice)
· Current Victorian drivers' licence
*The working hours would be generally allocated from MONDAY- FRIDAY 9:30am – 2:30pm or 08:30 - 4:30pm. We are currently recruiting for all areas.
As it is based in the community care sector, you will have shorter shifts and work with multiple clients.
