Responsibilities
* Provide language interpretation from one language to another for individuals with language barriers to understand and communicate with each other
* Handle telephone or video calls on demand and render meaning of conversations in the consecutive mode of interpretation between speakers of English
* Process information quickly and concisely, recognize sensitive cultural differences, and be always professional and courteous
* The interpreter will use appropriate industry terminology and understand common industry procedures and practices. The calls may involve simple or complex, non-technical or technical subjects in Healthcare, Government, Insurance, Finance, Utilities, Travel and Hospitality, 911 emergency services, Law Enforcement, Courts, and General Business.
Qualifications
* Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
* Ability to concentrate, stay detached from the conversation, and always remain neutral and objective
* Ability to quickly establish personal credibility
* Ability to follow client\'s instructions closely
* Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication
* with the permission or at the request of the client
* B2 CEFR English level bilingual with other required languages
* Able to work from home on a permanent basis
