We have casual shifts available, 7 days a week, in the following areas:
* Manjimup, Bridgetown, Pemberton and surrounds
A snapshot of your day as our Community Support Worker
With participants across the region, every day looks a little different!
Some core activities involved in providing person-centered supports include:
* Social support activities in the home and community settings
* Providing personal care to our clients when required (showering, dressing – things we take for granted)
* Providing assistance to participants to maintain their health i.e. medication administration
* Cooking, cleaning, and other light household duties
We are seeking Support Workers who:
* Are experienced or show a keen interest in working with a range of our clients in the community supporting their day-to-day personal care and social needs
* Can commit to a rotational fortnightly roster which could include weekdays, weekends, evenings, and some inactive / active overnight shifts.
Our 'must haves':
* A genuine passion to make a difference
* Verification of Primary Course of COVID-19 vaccinated (or willing to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance Check (or willing to obtain post interview)
* NDIS Orientation Module (online) Certificate (upon application)
* Current Australian "C" Class Drivers Licence with no restrictions
* Reliable, roadworthy, licensed and fully insured vehicle
* Visa details (if required)
* Working With Children Card (if required)
Our 'nice to haves':
* Provide First Aid certificate – less than 12 months old (training can be provided)
* Experience in the industry
* A Certificate III or higher in a relevant discipline
