About the Role
Our team members are the face of Bunnings, always prepared to give it a red‐hot go. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in moving products throughout the store to help our team provide the best experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
* Load and unload products using a forklift.
* Be responsible for stock management, considering safety aspects when using a forklift, and ensuring a clean and tidy work environment.
* Provide our customers with the best experience across the store.
* Be part of a supportive and inclusive team that makes a difference to the community and has fun along the way.
Required Qualifications
* A current valid forklift licence.
* Ability to approach, connect and confidently interact with customers.
* Eagerness to learn about products and services.
* Integrity, safety mindset and a willingness to do your best.
* Computer literacy desirable but not essential.
* Availability to work flexible hours (including late nights, early mornings and weekends).
* Age: 15 or over.
Ideal Candidate
We're looking for team members who are passionate about helping others and are keen to learn and grow. You'll love variety in your day‐to‐day work, with a focus on forklift operation, inventory management and customer service, whilst also having the opportunity to grow your experience in other areas. A personal interest in D.I.Y. is always a plus.
Working Hours and Pay
This is a full‐time role with flexibility to work between 7am and 7pm Monday to Friday.
Pay rate: $30.45 per hour (adult rate for 18years of age and above).
