About the Role
Be involved with all areas of ancillary equipment (generators, lighting towers, light vehicles, forklifts, etc.) repair and maintenance, including fault finding and troubleshooting, scheduled and preventive maintenance.
Be flexible with work hours, with the ability to work day and night shifts – currently day shift only but may be subject to change.
Ensure planned repairs are executed within time and cost requirements, be self‐motivated and able to work as directed, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement by working within teams to develop and implement solutions.
What You'll Need to Succeed
* Extensive experience in Open Cut Coal mining.
* A Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or industry equivalent.
* High Risk work licences highly desirable.
* Standard 11 and CBM or willingness to obtain.
* A current Queensland driver licence.
