Our client is a well-established HVAC specialist with a strong reputation across Kalgoorlie and the surrounding Goldfields region. With a growing portfolio of mine site, commercial and industrial contracts, they are seeking an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician to join their close‐knit team. This is a Monday to Friday role offering a mix of site‐based and local work, servicing specialised commercial and industrial HVAC systems rather than standard residential equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Fault finding, diagnostics, servicing and repairs
* Installation and commissioning of commercial HVAC systems
* Working on chillers, VRV/VRF systems and specialised commercial equipment
* Maintaining underground refuge chamber HVAC systems
* Servicing split systems, evaporative coolers and gas heating systems
* Cool room maintenance, repairs and replacements
* Supporting and mentoring an apprentice
* Maintaining high safety and quality standards across site and workshop environments
Key Requirements for Success
* Cert III in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
* Current ARCTick Licence
* Restricted Electrical Licence
* Current Driver's Licence
* White CardNational Police Clearance (within 12 months)
* Ability to work autonomously and take ownership on site
* Strong fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
* Working at Heights ticket (highly regarded)
* Previous commercial, industrial or mining experience advantageous
