Key Responsibilities
* Prepare maintenance plans and packages for effective operations and maintenance of protection, secondary devices, and substation automation systems.
* Prepare and issue maintenance orders to MTD PSD, MRS, and other concerned groups.
* Analyze and monitor acquired databases, profiles, and defect management for protection, secondary devices, and substation automation systems, referencing this information during the planning phase.
* Conduct investigations and analyses of fault clearance system failures, evaluate test results, and assess system performance related to protection and control systems; provide condition monitoring, trending, and identify potential areas for improvement.
* Coordinate implementation of maintenance activities with MTD DMS, SMS, and other relevant groups.
* Conduct technical audits on protection, secondary devices, substation automation, and facilities within the assigned area of responsibility.
* Monitor and record the accomplishments and implementation of maintenance and project activities, referencing approved maintenance packages and closing out completed orders.
* Ensure systematic monitoring and updating of PSD and SAS databases.
* Monitor the availability of tools, equipment, materials, and other supplies required for maintenance activities of protection, secondary devices, and substation automation systems.
* Monitor resource concerns and operational expenses of MTD DMS and SMS groups.
* Ensure systematic monitoring and updating of secondary device and SAS asset databases.
* Review and validate asset database build‐up and updates using SAP – EAM.
* Prepare detailed plans, time‐scaled charts, and diagrams.
* Prepare man‐hour resources, equipment resources, and cost‐loaded, time‐phased schedules.
* Design an efficient engineering schedule and prepare all work‐group packages in coordination with the maintenance scheduler.
* Monitor the implementation of maintenance packages and recommend measures to improve projects and maintenance programs.
* Undertake systematic recording, reporting, monitoring, updating, and compilation of reports, correspondences, plans, diagrams, manuals, etc.
* Prepare reports and presentations on operational performance based on set targets for the assigned divisions.
* Prepare documentation requirements for requests to implement maintenance activities.
* Ensure regular submission and encoding of work accomplishments, including identified findings against test and inspection procedures.
* Ensure availability of spare parts, materials, and other supplies before implementation of maintenance and project activities.
* Monitor SEIL implementation for SS PSD and SAS.
* Implement completion and updating of Fixed‐Asset Boundary Documents (FABD) between NGCP and Power Customers.
Requirements
* Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
* Registered Engineer.
* Two (2) years of relevant experience.
* Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office).
* Knowledge of Management Systems.
* Knowledge in preparation and presentation of Technical Reports.
