Are you a dedicated and compassionate Midwife seeking an exciting opportunity to work in a unique environment? We are offering 6-month Fixed Term FTE (66 hours per fortnight) plus travel time with the high probability of extension(s) and/or permanency. This role involves working 12-hour shifts two weeks on, two weeks off, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of a FIFO lifestyle in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia.

Responsibilities
As a midwife, you will play a crucial role in caring for expectant mothers throughout pregnancy, labour, childbirth, and the early days of their child's life.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A valid midwifery qualification and registration in the category of Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Proven experience in maternity care, including antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
* Flexibility and readiness to travel for FIFO arrangements.

Area Profile
The Goldfields region of the WA Country Health Service covers the Goldfields-Esperance Region of Western Australia. The region is located in the south eastern corner of Western Australia and covers 770,488 sq km (including offshore islands). The WA Country Health Service Goldfields consists of two main health campuses located in Kalgoorlie & Esperance, and three smaller hospitals located in Laverton, Leonora, and Norseman. The Goldfields is a culturally rich region with Aboriginal communities, language groups and a diverse population. The region supports mining, agriculture, aquaculture, and tourism; mining is the predominant sector in the central and northern parts of the region, with an established agricultural sector in the south.
