Imaging Specialist - Radiographer Role
The Imaging Department at Royal Sussex County Hospital seeks an experienced and skilled Imaging Specialist to join its multidisciplinary team.
* This role is responsible for providing high-quality imaging services, assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, and supporting colleagues in their work.
* The successful candidate will rotate through all areas of plain film, fluoroscopy, mobile x-ray, and theatres, while also having opportunities to develop skills in CT, MRI, and Interventional Radiology.
The ideal candidate will have good experience working in a busy imaging department and be committed to ongoing professional development. They should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* HCPC registration
* Previous NHS experience
* Experience in trauma and A&E plain film radiography
* Experience in general radiography including plain film, mobile, theatres, and fluoroscopy
* Experience in cross-sectional imaging
* Experience in Interventional Radiology
