The Role
Reporting to a State Marketing Manager, the Events & Publications Coordinator is responsible for planning and executing national online events and publications, with support from the State Marketing Managers and the National Digital Executive. The role requires experience in online event management, external publication production, and project coordination within a dynamic marketing team. This position is suitable for an experienced marketing and events graduate.
Responsibilities
Create and produce external publications including monthly newsletters, promotional eDMs, and guides/booklets.
Liaise with external designers to create hard copy publications.
Create, manage, and execute online events under the guidance of State Marketing Managers.
Design PowerPoint slide decks for national events.
Report on online event results and activities.
Foster relationships with external stakeholders and journalists.
Build and maintain strategic partnerships with sponsorship firms, securing speaking engagements to enhance individual Principal and brand visibility.
Success Criteria
1-3 years of experience and/or tertiary education in marketing, events, or communications.
Flawless and concise communication skills with high attention to detail.
Experience with website backend management (CMS experience desirable).
Strong PowerPoint skills and experience with Canva or similar tools.
Experience in virtual or in-person event management.
Experience with CVENT or similar event platforms is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines effectively.
The Process
This role involves 5 days per week, with the flexibility to work from one of our eastern seaboard offices or remotely in a hybrid arrangement.
