The Role
Our client is seeking a dynamic Senior Associate level lawyer with expertise in employment law to join a national team. This role is ideal for someone who is solutions focused, innovative and enjoys technical legal work. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful projects, drive initiatives and help stakeholders deliver high quality services.
As a dedicated Knowledge Lawyer you will sit within a national specialist employment, industrial relations and safety practice with a recognised market profile. You will work closely with a Head of Knowledge and national partners, helping to drive the firm's internal knowledge function across research, precedents, learning, legal operations and market-facing content. You will enjoy the autonomy to manage your workload without being bound by billable hours and there is flexibility, suiting someone who wants to step back from the pressures of client facing work.
Key Responsibilities
* Legal research and internal knowledge updates
* Monitoring legislative and industry developments
* Developing and maintaining precedents
* Supporting lawyers across the national practice
* Contributing to learning & development initiatives
* Managing legal and AI product subscriptions
* Assisting with knowledge and vendor-related projects
* Helping produce high-quality market-facing content.
About You
Senior lawyer with at least 6+ years PAE in employment, industrial relations and/or safety and regulatory law.
You will be:
* Self motivated and have a proactive solutions focused mindset
* A strong communicator, with a great attention to detail
* Collaborative, enjoy connecting ad helping people
* Interested in improving systems, knowledge sharing and legal capability
* Have excellent knowledge of employment and workplace law that you are keen to continue to develop.
