Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant – Fixed Term, Full‐time (12 months)
St John of God Midland Private Hospital requires a Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant on a fixed-term, full‐time 12‐month contract to support the successful opening in August.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the finance team and broader management group to deliver high‐quality financial, accounting and analytical insights that enhance performance and support strategic decision‐making.
* Provide forecasting, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
* Engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
* Act as a trusted advisor and partner with management to deliver on operational plans and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce or Business.
* Proven experience within a large, complex organisation with strong capability across financial management, accounting and analysis.
* Advanced skills in financial modelling, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
* Sound understanding of financial frameworks that inform both strategic and operational decision‐making.
* Highly developed analytical and conceptual abilities and strong attention to detail.
* Track record of influencing financial performance in dynamic environments.

About The New Midland Private Hospital
* A brand‐new purpose‐built state‐of‐the‐art facility, currently under construction, located just 300 metres from the St John of God Midland Public and Private Hospitals Campus.
* A comprehensive range of medical and surgical services, with interventional cardiology being offered for the first time in the region.
* The hospital will feature:
o 96 overnight inpatient beds, including a six‐bed critical care/high‐dependency unit.
o 33‐bed/chair short‐stay and day procedure unit.
o Eight operating theatres.
o A cardiac/vascular catheter laboratory.
