What you'll be doing

As an Allied Health Mental Health Clinician, you'll deliver compassionate, person-centred care to individuals living with chronic and persistent mental illness. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you'll support consumers in achieving recovery goals through comprehensive assessments, interventions, and coordinated care planning.

* Provide recovery-oriented mental health services and support for consumers with complex psychosocial needs
* Collaborate with consumers, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individual care plans
* Deliver evidence-based assessments, interventions, and crisis triage in collaboration with community partners
* Advocate for consumer rights and promote empowerment and social inclusion
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and service development projects

Essential Requirements

Qualification: Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist or Social Worker.

Registration: Full registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist, or Occupational Therapist OR for Social Workers, eligibility to be a member of the AASW.


Selection Criteria

* Demonstrated skills in mental health and discipline specific assessments and interventions and experience working with people with severe and persistent mental illness.
* Demonstrated understanding and ability to work within experience working in a team and/or knowledge of the principles that guide service delivery within this model of practice
* Demonstrated ability to collaborate meaningfully with consumers and carers with a commitment and understanding of recovery principles in mental health service provision.
* Demonstrated working knowledge of NSW Mental Health Act, 2007.
* Demonstrated excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and good interpersonal skills.
* Computer competence and literacy including the use of database systems.
* Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
