You will be joining a large and multi-site automotive business based in Sydney West.
Your new role
In this role you will lead the People & Culture function across multiple sites and nearly 600 employees, driving cultural alignment, workforce planning, and HR capability uplift.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing the People & Culture strategy aligned to business growth
- Leading workforce planning, organisational design, and succession planning
- Overseeing HR technology roadmap, data governance, and compliance
- Driving culture and engagement initiatives, including EVP refresh and DEI programs
- Managing industrial relations strategy, multi-award compliance, and complex ER matters
- Leading leadership capability programs and talent development pathways
- Overseeing recruitment and onboarding standards across all sites
- Supporting WHS governance, risk management, and ESG compliance
- Mentoring and developing a small P&C; team while building scalable systems
This is a role for a strategic leader who can balance big-picture thinking with operational delivery in a fast-paced, commercial environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 10 years' experience in senior HR or People & Culture leadership roles
- Proven ability to operate in multi-site or multi-entity environments
- Strong knowledge of IR, WHS legislation, employment law, and multi-award frameworks
- Experience influencing executive stakeholders
- Commercial acumen with workforce budgeting and cost modelling expertise
- Background in change management and organisational transformation
- Tertiary qualifications in HR, Business, Law, or related fields (preferred)
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
