Responsibilities and accountabilities
Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems and industrial equipment. Knowledge of electrical components, control systems, and the ability to ensure safe and efficient operations in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Functions
Operational functions
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and industrial equipment.
* Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and control systems.
* Troubleshoot electrical issues in machinery and production lines to minimize downtime.
* Read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
* Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
* Work with control systems and interfaces such as HMI and basic PLC troubleshooting (AB/Siemens).
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures.
* Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment performance.
Education
* Technical degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and troubleshooting.
* Ability to read electrical diagrams and schematics.
* Basic knowledge of PLCs and industrial communication systems is a plus.
* Reliability to commute or relocate to Apple Grove, WV, 25502.
Skills and competencies
* Electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics.
* Preventive and corrective maintenance.
* Knowledge of control panels and industrial wiring.
* Familiarity with PLC systems (basic level).
* Experience with industrial equipment and machinery.
