Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise soft services teams (cleaning, waste, linen, materials and wardspersons) to ensure services are delivered safely and to contract standards.
* Champion a Zero Harm culture by promoting safety, compliance and wellbeing across all activities.
* Coordinate daily operations, rosters and workflows to meet service demands within NSW Health requirements.
* Build strong, respectful relationships with hospital stakeholders, supporting responsive and professional service delivery.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives, encouraging ideas that enhance quality, efficiency and team capability.
Qualifications
* Experience supervising people within a customer-focused, operational environment, ideally in health or facilities services.
* Strong communication and organisational skills, with confidence managing priorities in a dynamic setting.
* A collaborative leadership style that supports, develops and motivates diverse teams.
* A proactive approach to safety, quality and continuous improvement.
* Comfort working a rotating roster and adapting to changing operational needs.
