Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and deploy high-quality software across frontend and backend components.
* Build clean, scalable, and well-tested APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
* Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering teams to ship high-impact features quickly and reliably.
* Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning.
* Troubleshoot performance issues and optimise system reliability, cost, and scalability.
* Contribute to improving developer tools, CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in modern TypeScript, both frontend and backend.
* Proven experience with frameworks such as React / Next.js on the frontend.
* Backend expertise with Node.js, NestJS, Express or similar frameworks.
* Solid understanding of REST/GraphQL, API design, microservices, and distributed systems.
* Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
* Cloud proficiency with AWS or GCP, including containers, CI/CD, IaC, and observability.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
* Bonus: exposure to event-driven systems, real-time services, or integrating AI/LLM technologies.
