School Leadership Position
The Teaching Principal Level TP1 role is a high-level leadership position that requires exceptional teaching skills and the ability to manage administrative demands of a school. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience as an instructional leader, and high-level educational leadership abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a complex public school focused on delivering high-quality education.
* Develop and implement inclusive whole-school teaching and learning programs.
* Build positive relationships and engage with all levels of the school and educational community.
* Lead staff in implementing Department's Aboriginal education policies and ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
The school has a strong focus on Explicit Teaching, embedding school-wide data-informed assessment processes and student voice and agency to maximise learning across the whole school community. Strong community relationships are also important, with a high level of community consultation and involvement.
