What You'll Be Doing
The purpose of the position is to provide medical care and support as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Responsibilities include assessment and management of patients across several clinical departments under the supervision of senior practitioners, developing broad skills in clinical decision-making and practice.
Qualifications
* Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Current unconditional authority to practice as a Medical Officer with the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Sound clinical knowledge and demonstrated recent clinical experience caring for patients and their families holistically and ethically.
* Demonstrated sound interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and harmoniously with medical and other health services colleagues as part of a multi‐disciplinary health care team.
* Experience in patient care quality assurance, peer review, risk management etc.
* Commitment to continuing professional development and medical education, willingness to participate in teaching.
* Effective communication with patients, colleagues, staff across multiple sites.
* Exceptional verbal, written, electronic clinical communication to facilitate open and effective relationships.
