We are seeking an experienced and motivated Construction RTO Compliance Manager to join our newly established Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
About the Role
This role is ideal for a highly organised professional with strong knowledge of vocational education and training compliance requirements, particularly within the construction industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the organisation maintains compliance with ASQA standards, training package requirements, and internal quality assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee and maintain RTO compliance with the Standards for RTOs and ASQA requirements.
* Monitor and manage training and assessment practices across construction qualifications.
* Review and update policies, procedures, training resources, and assessment tools.
* Conduct internal audits and compliance checks.
* Support trainer and assessor compliance requirements.
* Liaise with management, trainers, students, and external stakeholders.
* Maintain accurate student and compliance documentation.
* Assist with validation, moderation, and continuous improvement activities.
* Support regulatory audits and reporting requirements.
Qualifications and Industry Experience
* Current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent/currently compliant qualification).
* Qualifications and industry experience in carpentry and/or metal fabrication.
* Strong understanding of RTO compliance and vocational education requirements.
* Experience working within an RTO or training environment.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
* Experience with ASQA audits and compliance systems.
* Knowledge of CRICOS and international student compliance requirements.
* Experience in training and assessment within construction trades.
* Leadership or management experience within an RTO environment.
