The Role
We are seeking a casual Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator to undertake a leadership role at Baptcare Northaven Community in Kerang, Victoria. The role focuses on curating and overseeing a tailored Lifestyle program that aligns with resident preferences, promotes independence and active engagement, and fosters happiness. The Coordinator will provide mentorship and guidance to the team to support resident well-being and contentment.
Key Responsibilities
* Cultivate positive, supportive relationships with residents and their families.
* Develop, implement, and assess personalised Lifestyle Care Plans.
* Curate a monthly calendar of activities and special events.
* Foster strong collaborations with Care staff, Volunteers, and the Pastoral Care team to ensure a comprehensive, empathetic, and holistic approach to resident well-being.
About You
* Possess a vibrant and cheerful disposition.
* Hold a Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent tertiary qualifications.
* Demonstrate relevant experience in team leadership.
* Exhibit proficient computer literacy, including the ability to create promotional materials like flyers, program calendars, and newsletters.
