As the OOSH Centre Director, you will be responsible for leading and managing a thriving OOSH centre with a capacity for 120 children per day, children aged between 5-12 years, during school terms, and Vacation care during the School holidays. This is a full-time role that will see you overseeing all aspects of the centre's operations, vacation care, staffing and budgeting, program development and compliance.
What you'll be doing
* Providing strong leadership and direction to the OOSH team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
* Working with our Educational Leader to implement and develop an engaging educational programs that aligns with the needs of the children
* Ensuring the centre meets all relevant regulatory and licensing requirements
* Managing the centre's budget and financial operations, including payroll and family accounts
* Overseeing the recruitment, training and development of employees at OOSH
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with families, the local community and other stakeholders
* Continuously seeking ways to improve the quality of care and education provided at the OOSH
What we're looking for
* A Certificate 3 or Diploma ACECQA approved qualification in Early Childhood Education
* Extensive experience (5+ years) in a senior Early Education leadership role
* Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a team and lead the strategic direction of an OOSH
* Strong understanding of the National Quality Framework, regulatory requirements and best practice in early childhood education
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with families and the community
* Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and innovation
* Passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children
