Join the Northern Country CAMHS team as a Psychologist or Senior Psychologist delivering high‐quality evidence‐based psychological services to children and adolescents aged 0–16 years and their families within a multidisciplinary CAMHS setting. The primary focus of the role is direct clinical service delivery, including comprehensive assessment, formulation and therapeutic intervention for children and young people with complex mental‐health needs.
The Senior Psychologist role additionally offers advanced clinical leadership through supervision, complex case consultation, service coordination, quality improvement, research and workforce development.
Responsibilities
* Deliver direct clinical services, including assessment, formulation, and therapeutic intervention for children and adolescents aged 0–16 years with complex mental‐health needs.
* Engage in consultation and collaborative support with multidisciplinary team members, contributing to shared clinical decision‐making and service quality.
* Perform joint clinical work, education and participate in governance processes.
* Provide supervision and complex case consultation (Senior Psychologist).
* Support culturally responsive, person‐centred care and actively involve consumers in care planning.
* Engage in ongoing professional development to strengthen service quality and outcomes.
Qualifications
* Master's in Clinical or Health Psychology (PsyBA registered or provisionally registered, with provisional registrants completing the degree within 6 months and meeting all PsyBA requirements).
* For Senior Psychologist roles: Master's in Clinical or Health Psychology (PsyBA registered with endorsement, and approved PsyBA supervisor at all levels).
* Evidence of experience delivering psychological services to children and adolescents, and familiarity with multidisciplinary CAMHS settings.
* Commitment to culturally responsive, person‐centred care.
* Active consumer participation skills.
Requirements
* Full‐time employment, typically 10 days per week.
* Locations: Whyalla, Port Augusta, Port Pirie or Kadina.
* Competitive salary $91,785 – $116,216 plus superannuation and benefits.
