About the Role:
* Day‐to‐day technical delivery across multiple projects ranging from long‐term greenfield projects to modernisation and refurbishment of brownfield facility systems and technology.
* Hands‐on execution of initial scoping & requirements gathering, review of engineering specifications, detailed design and programming through to testing and commissioning stages.
* Problem solving and troubleshooting across the entire life cycle of the project, ensuring a timely and structured approach used for issue resolution.
* Applying strong technical knowledge of control systems and technologies across a range of clients and industry portfolios.
* Working collaboratively within dynamic multi‐disciplinary project teams, involvement in progress meetings and client interactions.
* Execution of business development activities as required, involvement in proposal writing and tender submissions with clients.
* Ongoing training and development including a mixture of practical & theoretical in‐house and external training programs.
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering field – Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or other engineering backgrounds.
* Hands‐on and collaborative nature, strong experience delivering automation projects in a timely manner.
* Very strong programming experience in various PLCs and SCADA technologies.
* Proven experience in a highly regulated or high‐risk industry; water/utilities, oil & gas, pharmaceutical or FMCG environments.
* Engineering consultancy experience will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
* Effective and influential communicator, with proven skills dealing directly with clients on project requirements and specifications.
* Ideally demonstrated mentorship or coaching experience with the ability to guide and instruct others in a project setting.
